When you watch a basketball game today, you may never guess that just a few decades ago African-Americans were virtually shut out of the NCAA and the NBA. ‘Black Magic’, a two-part documentary series, chronicles the racism and struggle for equality experienced by African-American basketball players and coaches both on and off the courts during the civil rights era. Dan Klores is the award-winning filmmaker behind the project.
