New Orleans, Louisiana – My 11, 2009

This mother’s day had a special meaning for a New Orleans mother and daughter. Monique goldsmith and her mom Anna both graduated from southern university at New Orleans mother’s day weekend. They both received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and said it helped being able to provide a support system for each other. Mom and daughter aren’t finish with school – they plan on attending graduate school together to get their master’s degrees.
