‘President is a nagger’ sign becomes slur

In front of the Eagle Hill Armoury Gun Store in Glencoe, Kentucky, is a sign. One side bears a simple message: OBAMA WANTS CHANGE AND YOUR PAPER MONEY TOO.
The other side is wordier:
OBAMA COMPLAINS
– AMERICANS ARE FAT
– POLICE ACT STUPID
– USA IS A BULLY
THE PRESIDENT IS A NAGGER
Last weekend, the last phrase of this message was re-lettered into a racial slur.
Owner Bryan Roach says that when he put the sign up, the last word was spelled with an ‘A’.
“Somebody had actually taken one of the letters out of one of the other words and put it in a place that made a word that we don’t advocate,” Roach said.
Community members say they knew the sign was an incident waiting to happen, and some in the area have threatened to shoot the sign.
Roach won’t take the message down, but he’s installed security cameras and said he will take legal actions against any future vandals.
