A Dayton, Ohio man’s job search ended with a trip to jail on Monday.

Shawn Miller apparently forgot to leave his gun at home when he went to fill out an application with Dayton public schools.

He realized his mistake before entering the school district building and hid the gun by burying it in a concrete planter just outside the door.

Unfortunately for Miller, a passerby saw what was happening and called police.

The entire incident was captured by the school district’s security cameras.
