LOS ANGELES – Rihanna says going into the studio just weeks after being assaulted on Feb. 8, 2009, by then-boyfriend Chris Brown was cathartic.
“Making this album was a lot of fun I have to say, it was really good for me,” the pop superstar recently told Australia’s The Daily Telegraph.
Rihanna says her emotions run deep on her latest album, “Rated R,” which was released late last year.
