Michelle Obama made an appearance on “The Simpsons” last night. Well, sort of. She was actually voiced by actress Angela Bassett — but regardless, the first lady was immortalized in Springfield lore forever.
Obama made a dramatic entrance at Springfield Elementary, much to the delight of male characters Nelson Muntz and Groundkeeper Willie. But she was there to give an inspirational speech to Lisa, who had been ostracized for being a high achiever.
