A former Georgia chorus teacher has been acquitted of charges he contributed to the deprivation of minors.

The charges stemmed from a brief strip tease that several male student performed in teacher Nathan Grigsby’s class in 2008.

Another student recorded a brief clip of the dancing with a cellphone, and when it was discovered Grigsby was fired and arrested.

He maintained that his back was turned during the brief performance and he stopped the students as soon as he realized what was going on.

A jury agreed and cleared Grigsby on all counts.

Several of the students involved still face charges.
