The son of a Jacksonville, Florida woman found decapitated Sunday has been arrested and charged in her death.

Jumar Henry, 21, was arrested late Sunday night after relatives found 43-year-old Jennifer Ling dead at her home.

Officials with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the home, then received another call that the victim’s head had been found in a bag blocks from the scene at Tyler and Dot streets.

Witnesses at the scene where the head was found said Henry came to their home Saturday night and described him as acting strangely.

At one point, the witnesses said he went to the back of the property while carrying a plastic bag; he returned without it, then left.

Members of a local church called police Sunday morning after Henry arrived there with injuries.

During the interview at the sheriff’s office Sunday evening, police said Henry tried to force his way out of an interview room and had to be restrained by several officers.

In addition to murder, he is being charged with three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer.
