Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

A New Hampshire man doing his laundry was put through a spin cycle when a minivan crashed through the laundromat.

Security video shows the vehicle barely missing John Osambo, who was doing his regular Saturday laundry run when the crash occurred.

“I heard some loud noise. When I looked at it, the car was right next to me, and it was still coming. So, I had to jump out of the way,” he said.

The driver of the minivan, a woman from Maine with her two kids in the car, had stopped to use her cell phone to call for directions.

“She had her foot on the break, and from what she told me, her foot slipped onto the gas. As she turned around, it went right through the building,” said Pat Valle, the laundromat owner.

Osambo said he didn’t have time to think as the accident happened.

“All that happens is you see a car coming at you, and you have to move,” he said.

Osambo kept running after he left the laundromat.

“I was running outside to seek… help,” said Osambo, who says he feels like he narrowly missed death.

He added that he did not think the accident was serious until he watched the video of the crash.

Osambo said he and his family prayed after the accident.

He plans to continue his trips to the laundromat.
