Despite 'Grown Ups', Chris Rock is still a kid at heart

This morning, Chris Rock appeared on NBC’s Today Show to speak with Meredith Vieira about his new movie, Grown Ups — a comedy about five friends who reunite after 30 years apart.
In the film, Chris plays a stay-at-home dad struggling to take care of the kids while his wife, played by Maya Rudolph, works full time.
When asked about his real-life relationship with his kids Rock replied,
“Women always want to help me…can I help you change the diaper; feed the kids? They offer to help me feed my own children like I can’t feed them.”

Always the funnyman, Rock had the Today Show crew in stitches when asked to describe the first time he realized he was a grown up.
“You know when you’re a grown up..when you have to thank people for gifts you paid for. Yes, thank you-me…I shouldn’t have. My daughter bought me a ferrari, it’s amazing! That’s a grown-up moment.”
Rock also discussed his longtime friendship with co-star and fellow comedian Adam Sandler.
“I had every reason to hate Adam Sandler. He was younger than me; he was getting stage time…He was Theo’s friend on the Cosby Show…I’m the black guy, I’m supposed to be Theo’s friend!”
