Free agent: Dwyane Wade, wife officially divorced

NBA star and Chicago native Dwyane Wade left a Cook County courthouse Friday “a free agent” as his protracted divorce battle with estranged wife Siohvaughn Wade officially ended.

“I feel relieved,” Wade told reporters outside the downtown Chicago courtroom where his divorce became final this morning. “To finally…get this behind us feels great,” he said, smiling.

His now ex-wife, chastised by the judge for blowing through 10 attorneys and dragging out the proceedings, was a no-show in court Friday.
