Ochocinco claims he got arrested, later calls it a 'all a joke'

Chad Ochocinco claimed his arrest was "all a joke," explaining "that's the power of Twitter"...

From NBC Sports

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco apparently was feeling a little more mischievous than usual last night, what with the premiere of his new VH1 dating show, of which we saw just enough to conclude we never want to see any more. So the attention monger tried to monger up some more attention via Twitter, posting entries that suggested he was arrested after getting into a fight with a bouncer at a New York nightclub.

He initially said that his friend left him outside and “they won’t let me in without my I.D. the bouncer talkin bout JETS JETS JETS.” Chad later claimed “I just got in a fight with the bouncer, them damn boxing sessions got me on point.” He implied that he’d been arrested by saying “at least the police let me keep tweetin n the car?”

But then Chad claimed that he and the NYPD officers are “so awesome we are all headed to Starbucks after we drop the bouncer off at the police station for assault on me.” (At that point, it should have been obvious to anyone with an IQ higher than 25 that Chad was making it all up.)
