Cops busted a Long Island woman for drunken driving after she crashed her car into a parked vehicle while her 3-year-old daughter was in the car.
Dawn Mills, 40, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville on Robinwood Street in Mastic when she collided with a parked vehicle at about 12:45 a.m. Mills fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later.
Her 3-year-old daughter was a passenger in the backseat at the time of the crash and was treated for a minor injury at a local hospital.
Mills, of Bay Shore, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony under Leandra’s Law. She was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and leaving the scene of an accident.
Mills will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
