Brandy ‘holding out for a hero’ in her love life

Brandy told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the Carousel of Hope Gala in Beverly Hills that she is waiting for that special someone. She had recently told Life and Style magazine that she abstains from having sex when she is not in a relationship.
“Everybody’s been talking about it,” she said when asked about her abstinence, “I haven’t been in a serious relationship and been in love in 6 years.”
Therefore, Brandy said that it has been a little while.

The singer also talked about the pressure of being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. “We have to dance for 4 minutes, which is crazy,” she said about the Rock Marathon. She also has the tango portion coming up which she is really excited about.
“That is where the pressure is,” she said about being a front runner in this week’s competition, “Because you wanna stay at your best, you don’t wanna forget the steps.” Brandy, 31, says that she really wants to win the competition. “I’ve shed tears for this honey.”
She ended the brief interview by saying that the song for the week, “Holding Out for a Hero,” relates to her current love situation.
“That is exactly what I’m doing.” She told Robinson.
