From Huffington Post:

It takes a bold person to openly read an adult nudie magazine in public, especially on an airplane where tight confines often leave neighboring passengers reading over each other’s shoulders. It takes an even bolder person to do it while serving as a U.S. congressman.

But that’s just what Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee who was recently elected to his 24th term in Congress, was filmed doing on a flight in July by a curious aisle mate who noticed the legislator flipping through Playboy.

To be fair, the Michigan View reports that some of the other accounts of the incident show Conyers actually reading the publication’s articles, such as “La Chatte” by Maureen Gibbon, an author who has blogged for HuffPost before.
