Holy smokes!

A nun who told cops a 250-pound black man choked her to the point of unconsciousness before raping and dumping her in a Brooklyn snowbank apparently fabricated the tale to hide an affair she allegedly had with a bodega employee in the convent, reports the Daily News.

The 26-year-old nun told police she was walking near Glenwood Road and East 40th Street at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when the “suspect” assaulted her. Authorities brought the “victim” to a local hospital, where she was treated and released.

The unsaintly nun recanted the tale after cops released a sketch of the alleged assailant and asked for the public’s help in finding him, reports the News.

A woman who answered the door at the Apostles of Infinite Love convent in East Flatbush told the News the nun, whom she identified as Mary Turcotte, had an “emotional break” and invented the entire story, including the part about the sexual romp with the bodega worker.

“It was all proven to be false. It wasn’t her fault,” the woman, who declined to give her name, told the News. “She is going to move out and we are going to get her some help.”

Turcotte hasn’t been charged with a crime, according to the paper.
