From NBC PHILADELPHIA:

Two women were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in a home in the Frankford section of Philadelphia Monday afternoon. Police have pronounced the event a double homicide.

Police were called to a home on the 5400 block of Rutland Street at 3:40 p.m. after receiving calls about a person with a gun and a possible shooting, say Philadelphia police. At the home, police found two women shot. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members identified the victims as Marcedes Ivery, 21, and Tiffany Barnhill, 19. Both women lived in the house where they were found dead, police say. “They were good girls, they were loved by their family,” said Fanita Mitchell, Marcedes’ aunt.

There are no arrests and no suspects in the case yet. Police say it is too early to tell whether this was murder or suicide.
