Delaware State police are currently searching for an inmate who walked away from the Webb Correctional Center Sunday.
Twenty-two-year-old Steven Byrd walked out of the facility on Greenbank Road in Wilmington just before 3 p.m.
Byrd is approximately 5’9” and weighs 178 lbs. He was last seen leaving a nearby Sears store wearing a black t-shirt with unknown writing and a dark pair of shorts. Byrd also wears glasses.
Delaware State Police is asking anyone with information on Byrd’s whereabouts to contact authorities immediately.
Webb Correctional is a minimum-security facility.
