The Priceless Gown Project targets16-18 years old financially disadvantaged women from the Baltimore area to give away free prom dresses.

“I think the most challenging part for me, personally, is trying to reach out to as many students as possible to make certain that they know that we’re here,” coordinator Leslie Collier said.

The women choose from more 3,000 dresses, and there were glam gurus helping them with their makeup and skin care.

Also, the women were asked to compete in an essay contest – on how they plan to change the future.

“They’re eligible to win a limo for their prom, dinner for two in a restaurant – as well as [a] boutonnière and corsage,” Collier said.

Collier also said getting donations for dresses are easy because most women have at least three dresses sitting in their closets.
