Police arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting at the Brighton Beach boardwalk last week that left a 16-year-old girl dead and four men wounded.

Police said Iloune Driver, of Brooklyn, was charged Monday with one count each of second-degree murder and assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

It wasn’t immediately known if Driver had an attorney. Police are looking for at least one more shooter.

The daylight shooting, which happened on the hottest day of the year in the city thus far, sent mothers and children scrambling for cover and turned what was a perfect beach day for many into a nightmare.

Tysha Jones died in the melee Thursday and four men in their 20s were shot when two gunmen opened fire on the crowded boardwalk.

Family and friends gathered Friday in East Harlem to remember the teenager who died when bullets started flying at about 5:30 p.m. that day.

Police say an altercation led to the shooting, and that it appears to be gang-related. But they also say the intended target was not among the five people shot.

Jones was shot under the left armpit and died at Coney Island Hospital.

As of Friday, one of the wounded men was listed in critical condition at Coney Island Hospital with a wound to the torso and the other three men were listed in stable condition at Lutheran Hospital with wounds to the torso, left leg, and right arm and right leg, respectively.
