The death of a 3-year-old West Philadelphia boy hospitalized nearly two weeks ago has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities say an autopsy performed on Jaquinn Brewton after he was taken off life-support on Tuesday showed he died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Investigators say the boy’s godmother had told them Brewton had fallen down the stairs and she couldn’t wake him up when medics arrived at her West Philadelphia home on June 29.
