Looks like the acting bug has bit Brandy yet again. News recently broke that the singer-turned-actress will be joining the cast of the popular show, “90201” for multiple episodes.

Brandy, who is no stranger to the small screen (everybody say Moesha), will apparently play an up-and-coming politician named Marissa Jackson-Lewis who is running for Congress.

After entertainment websites broke the story, Brandy took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“I can’t tell you starz nothing first…lol! Yes I’m going to be on #90210 for multiple episodes and I will be playing a politician!!! YIKES!

I have the acting bug, singing bug, and all around ENTERTAINMENT bug! Ready to inspire and fulfill my new dreams all over again! Pray 4 me:)”

Brandy has also been tapped to guest star in four episodes of the Lifetime show “Drop Dead Diva” and has been in the studio working on an album.

Can we officially call it a comeback?
