A man being questioned by Chicago police in a 6-year-old girl’s shooting death has been released.

The man, 19, was arrested early Monday following a weekend shooting in Englewood, where Arianna Gibson was struck in the chest and leg. Police released him Tuesday night after the Cook County state’s attorney asked for more evidence against him, according to the Chicago Tribune.

NBC Chicago: NBC Chicago’s Daryl Hawks Died of Heart Attack

Arianna was sleeping on her grandmother’s couch in the 7400 block of South Sangamon Street around 6 a.m. Sunday when the house was hit by gunfire. Two other teens were wounded in the shooting and are in good condition.
