There are only a few weeks left until the lazy hot days of summer turn into the frenzied cool autumn season. With the end of summer comes the beginning of the school year, and while most parents are counting down the days till their kids head back to school, the students are counting on mom and dad to spring for new kicks and cloths for the first day of school.

According to most of the kids we spoke to, teens and tween, boys and girls, are looking forward to starting their first day of school, styling a hot pair of skinny jeans with a logo tee. Many boys are more interested in showing off their new sneaks, or don’t mind asking their parents to spend upwards of $150 for a pair of Nike Air Jordans.

The younger school set will enter elementary school in their favorite dresses for the girls and cool baggy jeans for little boys. Kids who are entering school for the first time this year are more interested in what kind of book bag they will have instead of what type of clothes they will have on.
