Actor and TV personality Terrence J has been garnering a lot of attention from film executives over the past couple of years. The North Carolina A&T alum is currently filming director Tim Story’s film adaptation of comedian Steve Harvey’s book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. This role is just one of many on Terrence J’s expanding list of acting credits.

Before the bright lights and celebrities, Terrence J worked in the diversity office of a Florida-based sports company. His big break came in 2005 when his brother tipped him off about BET’s search for new hosts for the hit show 106 & Park. After an unsuccessful first audition, Terrence J persevered and auditioned again. This time, he was successful. Now, you can see the North Carolina native on BET five days a week. Since then, Terrence J has been all over celebrity red carpets, TV, radio and more recently movie screens.

Terrence J has appeared on the hit TV series The Game, movies such as Burlesque and Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, as well as modeling campaigns for Sean John.
