Welcome to the week in pop culture. Here’s all the latest and greatest black entertainment news from the week that was.

As if being pregnant isn’t enough, Beyoncé wants to start a record label
Who said Beyoncé can’t do it all? This week during her ‘Pulse’ fragrance launch in NYC, Beyoncé said that pregnancy is not slowing her down by any means. The “Love on Top” singer declared that she has plans to start her own record label and also produce and launch a boy band. Let’s see if Lady Gaga can try to top that! (Essence)

Don’t be tardy for the party… Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is getting her own show
Sheree Whitfield and her clever slogan “Who gon check me boo?,” couldn’t land her a reality show. NeNe Leakes and her wild antics and sassy ways couldn’t gain the attention of Bravo execs either. But oh Kimmy with her blond wigs and “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” anthem was able to land her a solo reality show. Will you be watching? (Huffington Post)

Chris Brown gets all steamy; sucks on a fan’s knee
Yeah you read it right. During a recent concert in Detroit, Chris Brown decides to pull a female fan on stage and show her a thing or two. The F.A.M.E. singer proceeded to take her down and sensually suck on her kneecap. SMH! (Hip-Hop Wired)

Da Teflon Don Rick Ross goes glam for his GQ profile
Okay Okay… he has a huge belly and enough tattoos to last dozens of lifetimes, but for whatever reason the distinguished gentleman’s magazine GQ decided to profile Rick Ross. Check out the top ten quotes from the hip-hop hustler extraordinaire. From his marijuana usage, to Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal, Rick Ross covers it all. (Pop Dust)

Taraji P. Henson goes in on TV Guide
TV Guide is featuring the cast of CBS’s crime drama Person of Interest, on the cover of their magazine, but they decided to not include Taraji P. Henson. Upon hearing of this news Taraji decided to “ring the alarm” and take her frustrations to Facebook and Twitter. (Media Bistro)

Security! Did Ray J beat down Fabulous in Las Vegas?
The feud between Ray J and Fabulous has become quite the little riddle. First, Ray J said that he beat up Fabulous at Las Vegas hotel over remarks the rapper made on Twitter. Fabulous immediately made a public statement saying that Ray J was delusional and on he was on that nose candy, and that he was not involved in a fight him. Ray J eventually issued a statement of apology and it looks like they can finally get back to making music? (BET)

That’s So Raven…. Or maybe not! Raven-Symoné’s new show gets canceled
She won us over on the Disney Channel with her cute dimples and clever humor. But unfortunately the adult Raven Symoné just couldn’t pull that rabbit out of her hat and bring huge ratings to her new show State of Georgia, which was canceled this week.

Tyler Perry is coming out with yet another movie about marriage
Hellurrr! Tyler Perry is heading back into the studio next month to begin production on his latest film The Marriage Counselor. The film is based on his 2008 play of the same name. What is it with Tyler Perry and is infatuation with marriage? He gave us two installments of Why Did I Get Married? and now he has a new show about marriage coming out on TBS entitled For Better or Worse, and now this new movie. Something is fishy here… hmmm…(Variety)

Tracy Morgan puts a ring on it!
Funnyman Tracy Morgan made headlines this week when he announced on the Emmy red carpet that he is engaged to his fiance Megan Wallover. Morgan was previously married for 23 years. Hopefully love will be lovelier for him the second time around. (E!)

Rihanna blows up the iTunes charts
Rihanna released her new single on iTunes this week, and within a matter of hours the song skyrocketed from the top 200 all the way up to the top 5. Ri Ri fans really know how to make her feel like she is the only girl in the world. (Popdash)

“Say hello to my little friend,” again!
Fans of Scarface are in for a treat because Universal Studios revealed plans for a Scarface remake. The studio does not plan for this to be a typical remake or sequel, and the race and gender of the new lead character has yet to be determined. That means the new Scarface could be Chris Brown, Beyoncé, or Oprah right?

Amber Rose takes a pilgrimage to Africa
The talented Amber Rose went to Africa in hopes of affecting the lives of young girls but ultimately took some heat from the press for only showing the poor side of the continent. During her trip Amber Rose sat down for an interview and ranted about how the rich people of Africa do not acknowledge the poor people in their communities. (Global Grind)

Ron Artest gets the boot from Dancing with the Stars
As if we didn’t see this coming… Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace gives a meager performance, worthy of being on the sidelines during the first night of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. After hearing the news that he was eliminated, Metta World Peace said that he didn’t expect to have staying power on the show. (Hollywood Reporter)

John Legend takes on TV with a new sit-com
John Legend and NBC Universal have reportedly teamed up for a new show produced by the Grammy winning singer/songwriter called Mixed Blessings. The show is said to be about “a prominent, black, street-bred hip-hop artist enjoying his single life who discovers that he has a teenage son and decides to connect with him and his white suburban family.” (Hip-Hop Wired)
