Last week Sophia Grace Brownlee, 8 and and her 5-year-old cousin Rosie (who both live in Essex, England) became overnight sensations after a video of the girls performing Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” hit the web.

The video has currently accumulated over 7 million views on YouTube.

Their performance also caught the attention of Nicki Minaj who tweeted: “I HAVE to meet her. She is a SUPERSTAR!!! Like did u hear how she sang the bridge? The attitude? OMG!”

Ellen DeGeneres enjoyed Sophia’s and Rosie’s rendition of “Super Bass” so much that to invited the girls on her show yesterday, where they performed the song for the audience.

After their performance, Ellen surprised the girls by bringing Nicki Minaj on stage.

Minaj gave some advice to the girls, “You are incredible. I just want you to stay in school, the both of you. Music is beautiful, but I want you to stay in school. Put your books first and singing second.”

She later joined the young performers to sing the first verse of “Super Bass.”
