Congrats are in order for Christina Milian. She just landed a job as the Social Media Correspondent for the NBC hit, The Voice. This is amazing news for Milian whose divorce from singer/producer, The Dream, was recently finalized. Here is the official statement from NBC about Milian joining their hit show:

“Christina’s extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice,” said NBC’s president of alternative programming Paul Telegdy. “Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition.”

The singer is best known for her hit, “Dip It Low.” Since her serperation from The Dream she has been photographed everywhere doing her other job as a full time mommy to the couple’s sweet 1-year-old daughter Violet. Now Milian won’t just be collecting checks from her divorce, but will be bringing in her own money with a legit job.

Milian tweeted her excitement about her new gig Wednesday afternoon:

“I’m officially your eyes and ears behind and beyond the stage for The Voice so if you’re a major fan you may wanna follow me!”
