Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

R&B singer Joe says his latest release, “The Good, The Bad, The Sexy” is about making women feel beautiful and special.

It’s a familiar theme for the 39-year-old Georgia native, who released his first album in 1993.

Now nine albums later, he’s making love songs for someone special – even if he’s currently single, himself.

“I would love ultimately to be [in a relationship],” Joe said. “I want [my songs] to resonate all the way through and be [about] 100 percent who I’m [in a relationship with].”

Joe is set to perform at this year’s Soul Train Awards in a star-studded tribute to Gladys Knight & the Pips. The awards show will air Sunday, November 27 on BET at 9:00 pm.
