October 8, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) — Rev. Jesse Jackson was celebrating his 70th birthday Saturday by helping to feed the less fortunate.

Jackson met with religious and organization leaders for breakfast at RainbowPUSH headquarters on Chicago’s South Side to discuss renewing the War on Poverty started by President Lyndon Johnson in 1964

Later, Rainbow PUSH distributed 500 food baskets to deserving families at its headquarters at 930 E. 50th Street.
