An Oakland Park woman is facing an attempted murder charge after police say she stabbed her neighbor after he refused to give her $2.
Dorothy Cooper, 61, was arrested Sunday after the altercation in the 200 block of Northwest 32nd Street, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

The report said Cooper went to her neighbor’s house and asked him for $2 and then $5, but he refused.
Cooper was “outraged” at his refusal, the report said, so she attacked the neighbor with a large steak knife, stabbing him in the back.
