The 40th Anniversary of the Soul Train awards took place in Atlanta last week.

The evening included a moving tribute to Gladys Knight and Earth Wind & Fire, who were both honored with the Soul Train Legend Award.

Cedric the Entertainer hosted the show and performers included Marsha Ambrosius, Common, Cee-Lo Green, Melanie Fiona, Anthony Hamilton, Natalie Cole, Eric Benet and more.

The Soul Train awards will premiere on both BET and Centric, Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
