CHICAGO – Cook County Sheriff’s Deputies have served the suburban Chicago woman who was the first to bring sexual harassment accusations against Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain with eviction papers. Sharon Bialek is being evicted from her Glenview, Ill. townhouse, adding Cain’s suggestion that Bialek was trying to cash in through her allegations.

Deputies served the papers to Bialek’s 13-year old son on Tuesday night, according to sheriff’s department spokesman Frank Bilecki. Bialek, who has twice filed for bankruptcy, owes $7,500 in back rent on the house.

Court documents show that she signed the lease in February and is required to pay $3,000 per month in rent. She and her son will be allowed to remain in the townhouse at least for several weeks.

Following Bialek’s initial allegations, other women came forward with similar allegations against Cain. The latest, an Atlanta woman named Ginger White, claimed on Monday to have had a 13-year affair with Cain.

Cain denies the affair, yet admits to having “helped” White pay various bills and rent over the years without his wife Gloria’s knowledge. White is standing by her claim and has shown phone records with back-and-forth text messages between her and Cain as recently as October and November.

“Unfortunately, I’m a softie and I feel sorry for people when they get in deep financial trouble,” Cain said to Fox News. Cain said that he will make a decision about whether to stay in the presidential race in the next few days, and it would depend on what his wife thinks.

“A week from now, I will have made a final decision,” Cain said to Fox News. “It has had a very damaging effect on (Gloria) emotionally, because of the way some of the story has been presented,” he said. “She gets upset when she sees the implications and the distortions by some people in the media.”
