Tyler Perry’s next movie, Good Deeds is headed to theaters Feb 24. The trailer for the film has finally hit the web, and in it we see Perry in front of the camera more than ever.

Good Deeds stars Thandie Newton, Rebecca Romijn, Gabrielle Union, Eddie Cibrian and Phylicia Rashad.

In the movie Perry plays Wesley Deeds, an affluent man from a well-to-do family, who right before his wedding develops complicated feelings for a single mom.

Aside from his supporting roles in Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?, this is arguably Perry’s most significant role as a leading actor to date.

With his latest feature film, Perry is proving that he does not need to wear Madea’s signature gown to be a leading actor.
