The Deion Sanders divorce drama has really heated up, as his daughter Deiondra alleges that Pilar is lying about finding out about the divorce on TMZ. Over Twitter yesterday afternoon, 19-year-old Deiondra (who is Deion’s daughter by his first wife, Carolyn Chambers) outlined her version of the end of Sanders’ marriage — laced with expletives hurled at Pilar. While accusing her of being a ”#GoldDigginH*e,” Deiondra claims Pilar knew about the coming divorce for months contrary to recent claims — and that she brought the divorce on herself by being a cheating wife.
Over a period of about two hours, Deiondra unleashed a stream of vitriol against her soon-to-be former stepmother, accusing Pilar of “TRYNA SLANDER MY DADDY NAME, THE SAME NAME THAT MADE HER FAMOUS,” according to a tweet sent yesterday.
Throughout Deiondra’s Twitter rant, she accuses Pilar of not really loving Deion and using the celebrity garnered by her union with him to further her career at the expense of the family.
Using the hashtag ”#HowYoTopPriorityBeen,” Deion’s eldest daughter enumerates Pilar’s failings as a wife and mother. Deiondra believes that if the former beauty queen had really cared about Deion, she would have spent more time with her children instead of recording albums, doing skimpy photo shoots, and hosting parties “LIKE YOU A 20YR VIDEO MODEL.”
Most shocking of all is the allegation that Pilar has been “flying out of town to see other ni**as…… Yeah We Know.” Deiondra also links Pilar to Wesley Snipes.
Deiondra takes a break from trashing Pilar to reveal her heartbreak at allegedly being restricted by Pilar from socializing with her children by Deion. Deiondra tweeted that, “my sister turned 8 December 14 i COULDN’T even take her spa day for her birthday she told me ‘my mommy won’t allow me to go with you’ ON BIBLE.”
While Deiondra alleges Pilar knew about the end of the marriage long before Deion Sanders released a statement, she also tweeted an alleged picture of Pilar’s belongings that appeared ready to be shipped away.
But Bossip.com caught Deiondra in a possible lie herself. Pilar had recently tweeted the same photo claiming that these boxes contained donations for charity.
Pilar has claimed in a previous statement that her “sole focus and top priority for the last 12.5 years has been her marriage and children. Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way.”
Clearly Deiondra believes that this very statement is true of Pilar.
Pilar’s lawyers have responded to Deiondra’s Twitter rant by stating:
Marriage is a relationship between two adults and it doesn’t involve engaging this kind of faceless accusations made by his child. If Deion has something to say, he’ll battle it out at the courthouse. Meanwhile Pilar is still trying to protect her children and save her marriage.
Deiondra’s brother, Deion Sanders, Jr. (also from Deion’s first wife) also weighed in over Twitter to apologize for his sister’s Twitter rant and say that, “Me and my dad choose the high route” — meaning that there will likely be no slander from the mouth of Deion Sanders.
Deion, Jr. concluded by stating that he and his famous father will keep Pilar Sanders in their prayers.
