From Huffington Post: Kid Cudi took to his blog the day after fan Ben Breedlove died from a heart attack to express his admiration for the Austin, Texas, teenager.

The 18-year-old had a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and passed away on Christmas Day after recently posting videos on YouTube, where he explained cheating death three times and confessed his admiration for rapper Kid Cudi. (Click to view videos.)

The musician, who’s real name is Scott Mescudi, posted this message on his blog, “Cud Life” on Dec. 26:

I am [sic] so sad about Ben Breedlove. I watched the video he left for the world to see, and him seeing me in detail, in his vision really warmed my heart. I broke down, Iam [sic] to tears because I hate how life is so unfair. This has really touched my heart in a way I cant describe, this is why I do what I do…Thank you for loving me. To Ben’s family, you raised a real hero, he’s definately [sic] mine. You have my love.
