Jennifer Hudson, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey are officially the celebrity faces of weight loss for 2012.

Now that the New Year is here, many Americans have started out on a quest to shed “those pesky holiday pounds.”

Who would have guessed that three successful Grammy Award-winning recording artists would endorse weight loss campaigns?

If you were anywhere near a television this weekend it was impossible to have not seen one of Jennifer Hudson’s commercials for Weight Watchers, Janet Jackson’s commercial for Nutrisystem or Mariah Carey rocking a tube top and skirt for her Jenny Craig advertisement.

For decades Jackson has struggled with her weight and has been candid about her ongoing battle with the bulge. Carey has also lost weight in the past, but failed to keep it off.

Jennifer Hudson to many might be the only legitimate fresh face of weight-loss, with the most compelling story.

In her latest commercial for Weight Watchers, viewers see Hudson performing side by side with her former heavier self.

Only time will tell if the endorsements of Hudson, Jackson and Carey will translate into big sales numbers for these weight loss manufacturers.

Which of the three weight loss commercial do you find to be the most compelling?
