This week Brandy made her return to television with a starring role on BET’s hit show The Game.

The Grammy Award winning singer is also keeping busy recording her first album in more than three years, and this spring will star alongside Kim Kardashian in Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor.

In an exclusive interview theGrio, Brandy dished on all of her new projects and some of the latest celebrity buzz.

The Game season 5 premiere brought in a whopping 5.3 million viewers, and Brandy hopes to return to do another season of the show.

“I just hope The Game fans give Chardonnay a shot,” Brandy said.

The “Never Say Never” singer also said that she is a fan of Amber Rose’s first single “Fame,” which was released this week and talks about ups and downs of life in the spotlight.

“I love Amber Rose’s new song,” the seasoned singer said. “I think Amber Rose just really respects creativity. I didn’t know that she could sing.”

Brandy, who has a 9-year-old daughter, Sy’rai Iman Smith, commented on the birth of Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, saying, “I think she has all the tools and talent to do everything she wants to do in her professional life and her personal life. I think she’s gonna make a great mom.”

In a recent interview on The Wendy Williams Show, Brandy revealed that she did not film any scenes of The Marriage Counselor with Kim Kardashian, but told the embattled reality star to ‘keep her chin up,’ and that she hopes to reconcile their friendship in the future.

“I know what she is going through. I would say to anyone who is going through anything like that to ‘just stay true to you,’” Brandy said during her interview with theGrio.
