Michael Ealy is back on the big screen starring opposite Kate Beckinsale in Underworld:Awakening which hits theaters today.

In an interview with theGRIO Ealy discussed his new movie and also talked about his future projects.

In addition to Underworld:Awakening, the actor will star in the upcoming romantic comedy Think Like A Man, based on Steve Harvey’s advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.

Although he stars in Think Like a Man, Ealy believes that a lady should act like lady and think like women.

“I think what makes women special is that they are women. If women were thinking like men, then they wouldn’t be women.”

When asked if he hopes to one day fill the shoes of screen legends like Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington or Will Smith, Ealy said he wants to just be himself.

“People say ‘are you gonn be the next Denzel Washington or the next Sam Jackson, or the next Will Smith,’ no I wanna be Michael Ealy.”
