Nicki Minaj made generated controversy with her latest music video release “Stupid Hoe”. Directed by Hype Williams, the video is filled with her truly eccentric style, including pastel makeup schemes, animal morphing and even a little nudity — all captured through some intense spastic editing. It also features huge bug eyes that might remind viewers of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video. “Stupid Hoe” utilizes nearly all of Nicki Minaj’s numerous alter egos.

On Thursday, the rapper and pop star made an announcement to her fans about the raw video, warning them that it would be unable to air on regular network television by tweeting, “Can’t premiere on a network b/c its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time.”

Minaj’s sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which features “Stupid Hoe”, was set to be released on Valentine’s Day, however, the star has just announced that the highly anticipated album will not be out until April 3rd.
