Karl Lagerfeld likes Michelle Obama's 'big black a**'

Karl Lagerfeld made waves in an interview Tuesday when he shared his appreciation for Michelle Obama.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Karl Lagerfeld played the Metro World News’ guest editor Tuesday and made waves in an interview where he was asked about news of the day. On the topic of America’s first family, he said he thought President Obama deserved to be re-elected and gave all credit to the first lady for his appeal. The fashion designer gushed over Mrs. Obama, saying that he was a fan of her “magical” face then introduced a side of the first lady that no one has heard before. He said:

My favorite line of Mrs. Obama is when a journalist asked her if she thought her skirts were not too tight and she answered, “Why you don’t like my big black a**?” This is a line I admire. She got me with that. So I want Mr. Obama who I think is very okay— because there is nothing better anyway — [to be re-elected], especially because of her.”

I never voted in my life. I will never vote. I know too much about politics from what’s going on backstage. To vote you have to believe all that garbage that they promise you, and they can’t keep those promises. If someone gave me an Obama pin, I would just put it on.

The article was updated with a comment from the Director of Communications to First Lady Michelle Obama who said, “Mrs. Obama never made that statement” regarding the “big black a**” line.
