From NBC New York: A teacher’s aide in Brooklyn who was arrested last month on charges of distributing child pornography has been arrested by the FBI again for allegedly sexually abusing children in the school where he worked, NBC New York has learned.
Taleek Brooks was a teacher’s aide at PS 243 in Crown Heights.
Following his first arrest, the FBI said they searched Brooks’ home. Officials said they discovered videos that allegedly show him in the school molesting children.
After learning about the charges, Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott met Tuesday with staff and the PTA president at the Weeksville School in Brooklyn. Brooks had worked there in 2001 before being suspended last month following his first arrest.
