A robbery took place in a CVS pharmacy in Atlanta with the sole intention of stealing hair weaves and cigarettes. Aside from property damage, those were the only items that were stolen. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that this is one of several robberies that have taken place in the last few months with the purpose of stealing hair extensions.

Thieves apparently looking for hair weaves and cigarettes smashed their way into a Midtown CVS pharmacy before daybreak Friday.

The break-in happened just before 5 a.m. at the CVS on Peachtree Street at 6th Street. The intruders tossed a brick through the front glass door.

Store employees and police at the scene told the AJC that the thieves apparently took hair weaves and cigarettes. A portion of the store appeared to have been ransacked.
