There were several amazing performances during Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, but one in particular is standing out today among the rest. Eleven-year-old Denise Bestman has become a YouTube sensation after starring in a 30-second Target commercial that aired during the ceremony.

In the commercial, Bestman is seen standing in a school bus with other children listening to an iPod and singing Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” Her classmates eventually join in and harmonize with her as they wave their hands along with the music.

Adele was clearly impressed with the 11-year-old’s performance because she linked to the YouTube video on her personal website.

Bestman is no stranger to viral video fame. The Staten Island native is an alumna of the well-known PS-22 Chorus, which is a part of Public School 22 in Staten Island, New York.
The PS-22 Chorus helped close out the 83rd Annual Academy Awards in 2011.

Target began tracking Bestman down for the commercial after seeing her lead the PS-22 Chorus in a version of “Rolling in the Deep” in a YouTube clip that has more than 1 million views.

Hopefully Bestman will follow in the footsteps of the singer/actor Tyrese Gibson, who shot to notoriety after appearing in a 1994 Coca-Cola commercial singing the phrase “Always Coca-Cola” while riding on city bus.
