Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was recognized last week for winning an Oscar for helping produce best documentary winner Undefeated at the 2012 Academy Awards, but apparently he didn’t earn the accolades. Diddy clarified on The Today show that he didn’t really win anything. From Electronic Urban Report:

Last week, Sean “Diddy” Combs was celebrated for winning an Oscar for best documentary at this year’s Academy Awards, but that wasn’t exactly the case.

So he clarified the situation on the “Today” show that he didn’t actually win anything.

Diddy says that while he is an executive producer of “Undefeated,” the award itself only goes to its film’s directors and producers.

“I’m like the Martin Scorsese Jr., ” said Diddy.
