Beyoncé and her post-baby body turned heads yet again in another stunning public appearance made within weeks of giving birth to daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Just two months after that momentous event, the pretty pop singer stepped out at a fundraiser hosted by first lady Michelle Obama yesterday, in a slim-fitting dress by Victoria Beckham.

theGrio: Beyoncé’s post-baby body is hers — not ours

According to the New York Post, Beyoncé has been able to fit into such figure conscious-dresses due to twice daily workouts at 5 am and 5 pm, and an unpalatable diet consisting in part of pineapple chunks and ice water. Live-in personal trainer Marco Borges has also assisted the superstar in maintaining her disciplined fitness regime.

theGrio: Beyoncé breastfeeding controversy: What does it mean to black moms?

Despite receiving praise from multiple media outlets for having a flat stomach, round bottom, and toned thighs such a short time after pregnancy, it has been revealed that Beyoncé is attempting to lose 40 pounds in a bid to make her post-baby body her best ever.

For a style icon considered to be among the most beautiful people in the world, that is certainly a tall order — but at least Beyoncé is only competing with herself to reach her prime shape.

Beyoncé was one star among many who attended the New York City fundraiser last night, including Star Jones, Angela Bassett, and Whoopi Goldberg. It is expected that the president and first lady will help the Obama campaign raise $1.25 million by the end of this week.
