Trayvon Martin’s high school, Michael M. Krop Senior High, recently paid tribute to him with a candlelight vigil service. Several faculty members and students lit candles in remembrance of the slain teen. The students honored their lost peer with poetry and speeches. The Florida police department is under a lot of scrutiny regarding their actions toward Trayvon Martin’s case, however the chief of Sanford’s police department was present during the ceremony.
