The rumored romance between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian has been a hot topic over the last couple days. The “Gold Digger” rapper professed his love for Kardashian in his new song “Theraflu,” which was released earlier this week. And the two were photographed Wednesday and Thursday in New York City after seeing a movie, and having lunch together.

During an interview with Ann Curry this morning on NBC’s Today, Kardashian commented on the recent reports that she and West are an item.

“I completely respect and understand you have to ask these questions, but I’ve said it before: Kanye and I have been friends for years,” she said, “You never know what the future holds or where my life will take me. So…I like the song!”

The reality star’s hesitance to speak candidly about her relationship with West might be because she is still legally married to Kris Humphries. During her interview she acknowledged her ex, and said that there is not very much she is allowed to talk about until her divorce is finalized.

“We are still going through a divorce, so there’s not really much that I’m allowed to talk about. Out of respect [for Humphries], I try not to talk about stuff involving him and regarding that situation. I have closed that chapter. I’m just really ready to move on,” Kardashian said.
