To commemorate the release of her second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Nicki Minaj sat down with ABC’s Juju Chang on Nightline. Hellobeautiful.com reports that the female-rapper opened up about her abusive relationship with her father, who was a crack addict. The interview also discusses comparisons between Minaj and Lady Gaga.

Nicki Minaj revealed intimate details about her childhood on a recent episode of “Nightline.” “My father was abusive. We were afraid for [my mother’s] life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst, he would threaten to kill her,” Nicki confessed.

The Pink Friday star added: “I wanted to kill him. I wished he was dead.”
On a lighter note, Nicki apologized to her fans for the unforgettable nip slip on “Good Morning America.”
