This past Sunday, the White House hosted their annual Easter Egg Roll ceremony. Thousands of children of all ages and their families gathered on the South Lawn of the White House as kids scooped their hard-boiled eggs across the grass in a race to the finish line.

The theme of this year’s Easter Egg Roll was “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move,” as part of Mrs. Obama’s fight against childhood obesity.

WATCH RACHEL CROW PERFORM THE NATIONAL ANTHEM HERE

President Obama, first lady Michelle, Malia and Sasha kicked off the festivities from the balcony of the White House. But prior to getting started, Rachel Crow, the 14-year-old former X-Factor contestant, performed a moving rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Crow was a contestant on season 1 of the U.S. version of The X-Factor, and won over fans with her soulful renditions of tunes like “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston and “I’d Rather Go Blind” by Etta James.
